I also had a great time monstering - was good to see a plot that gave the party real choices with real consequences - some great set pieces and nice to have such a large monster crew

Many thanks to all involved in the weekend, chioma, sky, pete, pat, sarah and all the other refs that had input, the monster crew, corrina and jenny for some delicious food and to the party, it was on honour and a privilege to lead you.

Fav bits

OSM fight.
Carrion and the goldfish moment of his arrival.
The conversation I had with Jihad.
Cutting the arm off even though I knew it would result in the loss of a res.
Party banter
Party debates and doing the right thing in the end.
The last xenos fight, very tough fight!

As leader it was very un-nerving knowing that everything the group did we would be accountable for. It lead to some very intense debates and choices.

I am going to miss Larp but will do my utmost to be back with you all asap.

Also many many thanks for the get well card, sorry I had to rush off but I started filling up and it's not cool to see a duegar cry!

cheers

Mark.

Thanks to you all for making the event go so well. I was extremely nervous before this one as I had tried my hardest to leave every option open to you - it's very scary having a near empty brief for the Saturday as it entirely depends on what the party decide... but my fears were nullified and I was delighted with how all the party's decisions panned out. Was great to see a real mixed party of experienced and complete newbies work well.

My biggest thanks have to go to the monsters who took roles to another level. Rik's involvement made the Supreme Leader great not only with immense roleplay, but also by IC making what could be a meaningless NPC a genuinely viable choice for the party. In the same way, Stephan's roleplay took Prakazrael from random undead to a character with some depth.

My favourite moments were:
The Supreme Leader's arrival - just immense.

The Return of Prakazrael - Layla's promise out of nowhere completely shocked me. That was one of the options that I had written down but was not expecting the party to go for!

The OSM Encounter - I say encounter because the roleplay before was as entertaining as the fight for me; exactly what I wanted from the State of Emergency plot. Even if it did take bloody ages. The yield proposal was a great compromise (that I hadn't thought of before) and it was certainly amusing when you demanded no throatslits. Apologies to the monsters who were sitting around the corner waiting for the next encounter - we thought the party would kick off much faster than that!

Many, many other bits that'll I'll remember in time. Not sure when I'll be back to HQ, but hopefully I'll see you all in the new year.

Would be great if we could have reports in, if anyone is going to do one then spelling = Kosior, Lady Guinevera.

Thanks again,
Chioma

Thanks as usual to all involved, another really good event. It stood out for having a LOT of party discussion about what we were going to do about various things and it's always insteresting to hear each character's widely differing take on things. Good stuff.
And as far as choice goes not all of them were that much of a choice:
(a) Agree with Carrion
(b) Disagree with Carrion and get stabbed up.

Although, like Chioma, I won't be coming on as many events as normal for the forseeable future I hope to get to as many as I can.

See you all again soon.

L8R,
Adam.
