I'm sure you will all join me in primarily thanking the weather gods. They have done a fine job this event from the beautiful rays to the rolling fog.
Big thank you to Gav, Sean and Bruce for reffing....where would we be without your diseased minds scribing such events to paper.
Thank you to the uber-chef Alex who once more kept everyone fed and watered, you grumble but we know you love it really.
Thanks to smudge for returning my nipple ring, to MBT for the death shots and to Sarah for somehow managing to get her parry on with a black elemental.
Also, a very merry Naming day to Brother John...may you have many more in the future and they all involve cakes.

See you all at the cross-over hopefully.

My thanks too to all involved. Highly enjoyable, some great scraps, great laughs, great food and great memories.

Really liked the Groundhog day on Saturday, well thought out and perfectly executed.

Erom Reeb!

I would like to thank my fellow refs Gav and Shaun for getting me drunk and dragging me back out of retirement (I think) and for the many pub nights we have had scheming together and for their great work in the prop creation. Also thanks to MBT for his creative input to part of the plot.

Huge thanks to the monsters for turning our plans into reality with great enthusiasm; they were always helpful, willing and maintained a great fun atmosphere. Without them none of this would have been possible.

Thanks to Alex, for not only great food, but for also taking part at various times and helping out.

And lastly, thanks to the players for remaining cheerful and for fully interacting with whatever we threw at them and whatever the time was, you made it all worthwhile.

I had a great time and am looking forward to the next two installments. Now to organise our next pub meet to continue our scheming.

See you all soon.

I'd give all credit for the event for the lovely bar staff at The Chandos near charing cross for serving us enough beer to drag Bruce dribbling and frothing back into reffing but seriously it's been a good team so far not only Gav and Bruce but all the monsters and players who made the event what it was.

My high points,

- Kal channeling Puke to clear traps in the vault while feebleminded and _still_ missing the final snap trap that nearly caused myself an embarrassing accident after assuming they had all gone off the next morning in "the box of evil"
- Kal again claiming the "evil is escaping. . . Someone get Cerredwin" and Sarah for such a low key response that we all felt cheated.
- Nic for naming day cake delivery
- Giles going into mentor mode for Vallen and Smudge for taking Kakarot under his wing. Was great fun especially the grins from everyone when Vallen got the power steal off following the lessons
- Watching the party roll through "groundhog" day with ease, and humour. It was amazing to see the difference in the battle boards.
- Going back to the monster base and hearing "are they enjoying it" consistently before "did we get anyone?"
- The Kalid fight with some proper command structure! I was getting nervous and excited even as an npc.
- ichabod cracking certain scrolls that I thought in the pub were so silly no one would get them! Good job mick.
- Story time with ichabod reading T's diary especially a sleepy renown reminding us where to begin again.
- the vault. Despite setting most of the traps I still couldn't remember what would go bang or jingle.
- The T fight. I was worried about how it might come off but I enjoyed it anyway.
- Duergar. Never has Horley been quite so full of armoured fellas (and one bearded lass)
- Party plans to make a randolphin dolly! I was excited for my new line of orin rakatha playthings really taking off.

Too many to mention for me really, a pleasure to player red for monsters players and refs alike. I hope this continues as well as it has started.

Cheers

I'd also like to thank Bruce, Shaun, Gav, the super monster crew, Alex the flexible chef and of course the weather gods.

Really appreciated people being kind re my knee trouble, notably Shaun, Ezekial, a certain black elemental and a morgul wraith.

Thanks to BJ for being my giggle partner on Saturday night

Lots of good moments I'll probably recall earlier, esp jumping the Morgothians of the Houses; I did enjoy the politics & the return of Tiresias.

From my report in 2009: "Midway through the discussions, Tiresias mysteriously informed us that “I have activated my staff” - when we looked it was indeed glowing, but the significance of this was unknown." He returnzzzzzzz!!!!

Overall a fun event with a fun bunch of people

I'd like to echo many of the thanks above, great event.

Clearly much work had gone into both the writing, prep and delivery for the event.

Too many good bits to mention, but the 'Big Box of Evil(Tm)' was a highlight every time I interacted with it. Whether it was shaking it like a loon while feeble minded or finding that the evil within was alive, it brought a smile to my face.

Lots of good stiff fights and the glimpse of a chance to finish off (literally) a loose thread. Kal really hates leaving foes alive

What does the whole 'I've activated my staff' thing mean. It's been bugging me ever since the Agoth HQ (which I appreciate sounds a bit sad).
