TOPIC: Monstering the november Aftermath event (London)

Monstering the november Aftermath event (London) 8 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hi there

A bit of a newbie; I've been to two events but that was years ago.

I was going to offer to monster the aftermath event to get back into the swing of things but I'm a non driver and I was wondering whether anyone was going up from London and could give me a lift?

I had a look and its quite far from the nearest station by foot.

I don't want to book the time of work unless I can get there so if anyone could help I'd really appreciate it.

Regards

Steve

P.s. Incase your wondering I'm the bloke in black with a big hammer on his belt on the far right.

Anyway even if someone could pick me up at the nearest train station to the venue that would be great?

That would be great.

Do you know which is the closest station to the camp?

should be no problem to arrange a lift for another monster

Bromsgrove is near to site - not sure if there is a nearer one - anyone?

I really appreciate that thanks. Im hopeless with directions at the best of times let alone in the middle of no where in the dark!

What kind of times do you guys normally get there so I can work out the train time etc.

Also, as I have only ever played in character and never monstered, do you have to bring a costume or will that be there (to be honest I think my old stuff is two sizes too small by now)? I have all the weapons I normally use(I normally borrow a shield) but is it worth bringing them if as a monster they will probably give you different things to suit the character?

All weapons and costune will be supplied to monsters, all you need in a base layer i.e. black trousers, t-sirt and boots.

Remember to bring a belt and gloves.
Most folk tend to get to site about 8pm ish.

Hi Steve

I'm in a similar position - which day/what time are you planning on arriving at Bromsgrove?

p.s. rail tickets look cheaper if you break the journey down into 2 stages London->Birmingham New St, and Birmingham New St->Bromsgrove
