Oi! I hoid that! Awoo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo-woo!

Just so you know, not all Americans do dates that way. Sadly, most do. I guess because I was in the military, it got worked out.

Magnificent horned backs, leathern wings... soaring... and their hot-breathed wind. Oh, I know this creature of yours. Vermithrax Pejorative. Look at these scales, these ridges. When a dragon gets this old, it knows nothing but pain, constant pain. It grows decrepit... crippled... pitiful. Spiteful!

It's actually inherently sensible if you want to sort things by date order in, say, a directory!

Wash your mouth out with a brillo pad!

If you ask me, we should be using the Aztec date format:

Calli Ozomahtli Ozomahtli...

it's very simple really, The date as presented above shows the name of the year (the xihuitl in Nahuatl, the language of the Mexica or Aztecs), the name of the 13-day 'week' (trecena in Spanish) and the name and number of the day (tonalli) in the tonalpohualli, 260-day ritual daycount.

I'm sure we can easily modify the site code to deal with this simple and logical calendar... more details can be found here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aztec_calendar

Shall I add it to your Google to do list Sarah?
