February event 5 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Is it me or has the Feb event disappeared on the website on the Future Events list?
Does anyone know if this has been cancelled?

Cheers,
J

Looks like it's disappeared from the side menu tho?

It's still on as far as I'm concerned and I'm writing it...

yea 20 foot really is a shorter distance than i thought. makes it quite hard to judge in the initial phase. my plan for that one was literally i mass entangle the monsters in the shield wall. in the ten seconds it would take them to get loose you guys would of connected and the innitial impact of shield wall meeting shield wall would cause a shock and result in the newer monsters backing off causing the more experienced fellas to pull back as well that initial contact i hoped would cause the younger ones with less experience to take a cautious approach and demoralise.

suffice to say it DIDN'T work. lessons will be learnt on my part. i might even make a stick to measure length.

That's the problems with plans - they hardly ever work!! The only plan I've ever known to actually come off as planned was The Battle of the Phantom Path, on Chioma's first event reffing. Contrast that though, with every other plan EVER!!

lietha fae

To be fair the plan was sound and could have turned the fight in the initial stages.
It was an unfortunate lesson but one well learned.
next time i think the monsters will be in for one hell of a shock LOL
As much as i laughed at the dancing grass spell, Vallens idea of tactics involves charging everything and trying to beat it to death before he falls over LOL
maybe we have both learned valuble lessons.
then again Knowing Vallen .........Probably not LOL

Re:February event 5 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 2
as leitha i always wanted the enemy to be stuck on the spot to give me the advantage of having the ability to be more mobile and pick them off one by one,

this was something that always enticed leitha as well as his natural background and his religious aspect to the druids guild. so to me the idea of mass entangles ensnares entangles seemed so right. but on the day because of my lack of experience in using the spell i majorly screwed it up. but it wont happen again.. it would of helped vallan and the other warriors to put them off footing and tip the balance from the beginning. in all reality leitha really didnt want the duel with all the halmadon heights as it meant fighting for something he really doesn't like necromancy.
