Bah humbug and good luck.

My apologies for my lack of knowledge.
I would very much like to attend on the Saturday to see "what it is all about"
Is this in any way possible for a bystander to spectate?
I am still reading through the extensive rules and regulations.
So much to take on board, I was hoping I could witness the "outside events" whilst thumbing through the volumes of scripts.

If this is okay and will not breach any regulations (I have no costume to wear as yet) then may I please be given any information as to the location or where I may find out more info?

Many thanks for your patience whilst I try to bring myself up to speed as quickly as possible.

Hi Questor,

Come along and monster - you'll have a great time.

As a monster all of your costume will be provided, all you need to do is wear plain blacks - combat (or leather if you have them) trousers and t-shirt (without logo) are ideal. Some sensible boots are a good idea and bring at least two belts (as one will usually be worn over whatever costume you are wearing). Plain gloves can be useful too. Avoid very modern clothing with lots of logos and don't wear white trainers (or be prepared for some ribbing ). As I said all of the 'in character' costume and equipment you need will be handed to you by a referee, who may even help to dress you if you ask (or are an attractive lady ).

If you have not already done so contact Mark Roberts (details under 'contact us' above. He will be able to explain everything to you.

Don't worry about memorizing the rules at all. The referees do that and will explain anything that may become relevant on the event. When you are monstering you will generally only be required to stay in character when playing a part so there will be plenty of chances in between encounters to get any questions answered.

You'll pick it up much better by joining in (and if you are watching you will want to join in anyway ) so don't feel intimidated - it was everyones first game once.

Hope to see you on a game soon.

Thank you Pat for that very warm welcome.
I shall indeed speak with Mark and obtain all the pertinent information.
Alas, I am unable to stay longer then Saturday on this occasion but I am thrilled to have a peak into something I have always wanted to do.
Hope to see you then!
