Thanks to Pete, Bruce, Shaun, and the hard-working monster crew for the Solstice dungeon!

And Alex for the food, the dinner on Saturday night was particularly tasty. If only I could eat the whole portion sizes!!

Thanks too to Iain for lending me his uber-evil staff.

I really enjoyed navigating the plot dilemmas, particularly Kiara/HH negotiations, lich friendships & Shadowsfall/Valdemar.

Thanks to Alex & Jenny (and any helpers!) for setting up a nice meal for Kevralyn & her guest Aruna on Saturday night. And thanks for the birthday cakes, even if I felt bad cutting the pink piggy monster through his face with all that squealing he was making!!

Personal fave moments:

- Aruna calling Rasc's bluff & inviting him to her 'tomb' for a night of unnatural passion... ha ha ha ha ha ha!

- meeting lots of favourite NPCs from Shaun, Steve, Pete & Bruce (Shard, Araikas, Dreams, Sir Clavados etc etc)

- ordering the death of the lunatic we were handing over to HH there's got to be a bonus to being evil every once in a while!

- the ode to Lady Isabella from the Taranor aiming to take over a borough

- managing to get a traditional drow conversation in with Harlequin which baffled Pete's character

- Bruce's NPC being unnerved by Gob's expression and moving away, only to find himself next to the drow baron & look worried all over again!

- Marcus Arbitrage, the rich lich

- hangin' with the Corsairs in the "I don't give a fig about the Green" naughty group for the ritual, while enjoying the sight of the rappers/dancers of the other groups. Someone revealed his true alfar self

And to clarify, when a Dark Seer says "I can't remember", that is NOT a signal to helpfully chip in with the answer!

Big thanks to Pete and Bruce, crew and of course cooks.

Lots of nice little moments:

* Lady Liliana giving me the honour of accepting her word.
* Snubbing the Lich who, for some reason, thought he was going to get to talk to me.
* Getting up on my soap box in the aborted Halmaddonian fight, really cool encounter.
* Meeting Sir Danus, a fellow right wing fascist.
* Getting an "I told you so" moment about High Priest Anthony.
(note to self - learn discern spiritual influence)
* Looking after the new recruits who did very well.
* The MANY talks about morals etc with the numerous evil doers and fence sitters. (particularly the one with Shard and Delta where, upon them telling me that balance dictates that you can't kill all the evil doers I suggested throwing them all in prison instead... )

Thanks to all: Alex for the food, and being a git, and Jenny for food and being nice.
Thanks to refs and monsters for a cracking event.
Thanks to the players for being such a great bunch.
It's taken me until now to sort stuff around in my head, and think of fave moments, but the ritual stands out quite well. You were all so grumpy about it, and then gave up and 'sang' along. Who'd have thought you all had it in you?
The dymwan on the sandy plain was a fun bit... carnage, but fun. Thanks for letting me do more than just Cure Mortal.
See you from the other side next time...

Thanks to refs and monsters for putting a great event!

Favourite moments

Scout Training!

Firing the blowpipe at the dodgy ritual caster trying to fiddle with the Green Man!

Talking to Keveralyn about why i did it! We came to an understanding!

Scouting down the path, and reporting 9 black and white shapes, then escorting the whole party silently to within striking distance, gaining the drop on the monsters only to find they were HH!
JB turning his back on the HH Knight was epic, great roleplay from JB!

Looking forward to more!

Really brill event, lots of fun as per usual.
I do enjoy Heroquest
Pete & Bruce were ace.
Shouting to the party from the top if the castle trying desperately to kick it off and being ignored oh so much.
Then again, talking to kevralyn trying to decide what decision to make.
The HH fight just the whole thing.
Coming in as lady Lilliana and feeling very much that Kudos was trying to fob me off and then it becoming quite apparent he was lying to me when 2 people whispered at him about something he'd just said. Then swearing an oath to Tarndeth.
And also, the shear anger, rage and power felt from the party the first fight after Moragars inheritance was taken.

Amazing!
