Just about recovered now so time for thanks.
Having monstered the first day I have to give a huge thanks to the monsters who did a fantastic job in the blazing heat.
As usual thanks go to SGB for putting on another quality event and to the cooks for great food as always.

Shen's straw sun hat is now officially my favourite piece of kit. And I think the pause under the bridge is going to be a popular "favourite moment". It's not often you get complaints when the player ref speeds up a med.
The boon was lots of fun. I doubt I'll burn through 45 lightning bolts in one encounter again for a while.

See you all again soon.

Indeed - fun to play, lots of interesting things to think / talk about, some epic fights - and I really like the way the Boons work, linking people together as a group. Makes it just that bit more special / memorable.

<note to self - if its hot, find Shen and steal his hat!>

awesome event, could have done without the portable sauna in a heat wave but I made it through lol. tough fights, hard choices and bacon in the morning NICE! I also like the way the boons work makes being the 'CATACLYSM SQUAD'(I say this because mystic force sounds to power rangerery lol) a nice touch plus some in character bragging lol.

thanks to everyone involved,

Great Event!

Really enjoyed the fights - loosing my Guardian Spirit on the first day was never going to end well, but fun was had nonethless, so thanks to all the monsters for never letting up despite the climate.

Thanks of course to SBG and Creen for the planning and food....

Too many favourite moment to call out, but I especially enjoyed the song-writing session - very, very funny! Very grateful for the evenings downtime to do IC stuff, given the ridiculous weather.

All in all a great bunch to spend a week with - see you again soon, hopefully!

Great event to make a comeback with. I loved every minute of it.

Just wish Sarah D. had been on better form so we could get down to some serious badinage. GWS, Sarah.

I thought the refs dealt very well with the warm weather and the monsters were beyond motivated in the heat. Great fights, great roleplaying throughout.

Particular tipping of the hat to Steve for the transport and pre-event catchup session, JB for the Clytaclasm (Really?!), the Fat Snorers (Sorry about the Fire-Apple incident.) and most especially to Deb for getting me through the event largely idiot-free.

Thanks all. I'll be back. Again...

I have a zillion thanks to make..

Thanks to Bruce for let me hang out at the event!
Thanks to Corinna for cooking great food and being good company during the day
Thanks to Shaun and Steve for helping me get my stuff to/from the event! Also to Steph for the lift there.
Thanks to everyone who brought or gave up a seat, and carried a chair around on one of the day's overlands.
Thanks to everyone who stayed up late to help after I fell over one night.
Thanks to the refs Bruce, Shaun and Gav for making a super event, and George for stepping in to help when he arrived.
Monsters - you were awesome for soldiering on in the great heat and still being up for fighting.
Players - thanks for including me in some of your discussions.

Hope I haven't missed anything!

Favourite moment was a small role-playing one when Lan & Kevralyn were explaining to Rik's River Person why we didn't feel the need to socialise with others.

Even though it took a long time to do my thanks.

SGB ran a fantastic event! Thank you so much.
After not playing for quite some time there were some problems but the plot, refs and monsters made the week fantastic!

To the few of you that helped me through some things IC thank you very much, it made the week easier!

Making all those decisions about changing our world and knowing the effects it could have on heroquest as a whole was a lot of fun but also such a concern, I'm glad it all went as it did.

Keeping my mouth shut at some points knowing things that I didn't know as Kiara was difficult but entertaining especially as we all know how much I like to ramble on!

There were lots of highlights, I particularly liked the KooDL fight before the green.

So anyway. Thank you everyone, it was a fun week!

Has just realised that his phone doesn't post to this web site!

First off thanks to all involved for a great event.

I think it is a testament to all of us that we kept going in such extreme conditions and battled past the heat.

Still no ideal how I manged to find the energy for the final fight!

It was nice to observe lots of in party debates lots of good RP bits and of course some fun fights
