I would like to thank everyone involved with last weekend's event.

Myself and Nick had to move the dates of the event and i would like to especially thank Sky and Corrina who had to go to extra efforts to be able to make the event and were vital to it's success.

I would like to thank my small but well formed monster crew-
Nic for untold changes of colour
Mick for loads of great ideas
Dan & Alex for their constant willingness and great fighting, especially packing the kit up Sun morning.
Leandra for her unstinting helpfulness and stepping up to Bad guys and NPC's alike

Thanks to Jenny for helping out in the kitchen and behind the bar all weekend.
Nick was top drawer wallahing all the kit all weekend, playing loads of great NPC's and coming up with lots of great ideas, so thanks to him too.

I hope all the party had a great time, that is the point of the shorter events in my mind- a little less serious and intense but still with some big fights and plot.

Not everything went quite right, and the mistakes that were made were mine but it was an ambitious brief with a lot of research on rules and background needed and i'm satisfied that the mistakes were minor and that overall (hopefully) the event was a success and illuminating about the valley nation for players and refs alike.

I enjoyed running the event and i hope that everyone who took part also had a good time.
cheers
George

He's getting totally typecast that ginger-neck sucker

Have to say I was a bit run-down with work and generally a bit bleugh on the run up to the event but it was a really nice relaxing weekend away, lots of fun and a great party (in more ways than one!).

Fave bits:
- Bolting the 2nd tree to death while rolling on the floor from the earthquake caused by the 1st trees death. . . . and giggling the whole time
- Beating Orme in the two handed weapon contest using a stick I'd "whittled" in the forest (sorry George)
- The fight at the Humacti Fort in general, running around in circles from scary undead first with Nathan and then Fighting Dog . . good times.
- The look on Georges face when Fuu-Kisi pulled a large map out of his pouch and showed him that the impenetrable cliff was more like a wide open plain from Kalid lands to ours. . . maybe we need some guards?
- The entire conversation about how cheap Orme must have got the Pole due to the rabid badgers, haunted graveyard, pit of despair, Kalid incursions and bogs of eternal stench

Roll on the special at the end o the month

All I can add is thank you to whoever called the time out in the middle of the shambling mound fight. It would have been rubbish to die on 500 blows. Thankfully I made the 1000, reputation intact.
And I would also like to point out that even though I was consistently given big wallopy types, the deaths on the event were caused by other people. So Rich is still the butcher, and I'm cuddly.

Hehe thr map convo was hilarious! And the fact we lived off the reasons why he got the pub so cheap all weekend!
Was a great event.
thank you to everyone especially george for everything he did for me.
I had a very awesome well needed weekend away!

Also thank you to nic whatmore and alexs "gentle loving"

Pretending to be kiara and getting "assassinated" was rather a turn up for the books was very entertaining. Jus goes to show how a party can change things around hehe. Think poor scorch is still rather upset about that "not happy we let sparky boom boom lady get stabbed. Not happy"

And thr play... well... just... well..

Lol. See you all in a week (im even more mobile than I was! Yay!)

Love you all xx
