Hi All

Great words Gav.

It was a pleasure to have been there.

My only regret was the breifness of my stay. Though others may argue with that particular statement.

Was hugely impressed with everything I saw, especially the attention to details and the set dressing.

Cheers

Rich

P.S. I had no intention of getting that book, it was all Chioma's fault!

P.P.S. Kal was certainly the best!

was great fun to be involved, as allways, with 1 of Bruce's events. sadly the last.

HQ is a team game all round and it seems that all the different participants enjoyed themselves.

Its testament to Bruce and Mike that the sketchiest encounter on paper was delivered so brilliantly and will surely remain in the memory of the ppl involved for a long time

Thought there was a lot of high quality role play all round and especially enjoyed playing the librarian * type cast *

Enjoyed fighting the party on many occasions, though not in all of them my favourite was probably the first, 19 monsters going in after a *soft* time in, mass freeze , chain touch of evil. The look on Gravesongs face was priceless.

good to see everyone again,
cheers!

Had a wonderful time, although I couldn't believe how tiring it was! Marvellous effects, great monsters.

Many, many thanks to Bruce and the refs for all their splendid efforts.

A party that it was a true pleasure to adventure with.

Enjoyed the plot, and it was all explained so clearly, yhat even I could understand it.

It was wonderful to be back playing after such a long time, and I couldn't have chosen a better event. Huge thanks to the refs for all their work and attention to detail. Really, really great stuff, even if the Realm of Pain was a tad too realistic! A fantastic party to adventure with too; you're all the best.

And thanks to both refs and party members for their endless patience with my appalling memory for hits, rules, stats, effects...pretty much everything, really!

It was so good to be out again, and I hope I have the chance to do more next year. By which time I will have improved, I hope.

I'm extremely jealous! It looked and sounded like an amazing event!
Sad to know I missed Bruce's last event. I hope to pop to the xmas event for a little while to try and see everyone.

Well I had a blinding time. I would especially like to thank Bruce and SFB for letting me retire Gravesong as planned while player reffing rather than playing.

Gav did a superb job on all the set dressing, especially the soul garden, the banners on the realm of battle and of course our home from home, Cardinaris' lodge!

My favourite Party moments. . . .

The look of utter disappointment on Kevralyns face when Lan first reporting back that "we've found the library, there are about 5 books in it" . . and then the giddy results later when the scrolls were revealed and she realised exactly what some of the books were!

Another Kevvie moment which I think someone already mentioned but when a dejected Ezekiel reported back that he had been summoned as an undead and killed a member of wolfhold everyone else acted upset and empathatic. . apart from our loveable Taranthir who asked gleefully "oooh ooh who?"

Puke and Gravesong consoling each other as memebers of "Team Immortal" knowing that this might be the second to last time we saw most of them. . . little did Puke know.

Possession problems. . Randolphin freezing and bolting Lancorrin only to be on the receiving end of some Drow-Ninjitsu action. Puke managing to murdering Randolphin in short order and then nearly finish off several other people under the command of "kill all the wizards" along with Kevralyns indignant response of "get off I am NOT a Wizard!".

Superb work from Bruce, Neil, Mike, Gav and all the monsters. . . this goes down as one of the best events I am ever attended.

Cheers

My fav bit had to be the look on Lan's face when Randy froze him rather than bolting him as ordered whilst possessed. He was so surprised he didn't even try to ki it off.... well it made Team Immortal laugh....

Also walking off into the sunset with Gravy never to be seen again (well, not until dinner time...)....

Would like to add my thanks to all those concerned - especially Bruce (obviously) and the guys who did all the set dressing - the obvious effort made by all made a huge difference to the game - cheers all.

I was only there the last day but it was great to see the excellent atmosphere and sense of fun in both the monster camp and the party - particularly as this was day 5.

As well as this the standard of costume and make up was brilliant - all the more impressive because it was the last day.

I was in almost every fight and didnt get 1 unpulled blow and all the player and monster vocals were loud and clear.

The monster base was very well organised and every brief was clear and I could read a copy of the brief at any time to confirm stats background etc.

well done Bruce and the ref team - the monsters and players.

I am only sad that Bruce lost 12 of his monsters the 2 days before the event and had to recast some major parts etc.

My favorite moments -

1) Gill the mad lunatic brain monster and fighting in the thick smoke, gav actually scared me as much as the players when he leapt out of the clouds of smoke

2) The blindfolded agoth encounter - absolutely top role-playing from everyone - particularly kalliste and quicksilver.

3) the agoth encounter where we had lost all of our abilities - so much for surrendering to the goodly party members - they were immensely keen to butcher us. Toshiros face when I halted the fight for a second to try and swap weapons because mine wasnt working was classic.

4) playing the catacombs tower leader and trying to chat with Quicksilver Kal and Randolphin whilst the fight was going on around us. Difficult trying to play a serious character when just as the party arrived we had decided I was Tim the enchanter from the holy grail! A difficult desicion from Kal as to whether or not to try and kill me but I think you made the right one as you could still succeed in the mission without doing so. ell done agin Bruce for letting the players have options that define how the campaign evolves and continues.

5) cause mortal 8 on toshiro - who would of thought I can still creep up on people - sorry adam.

All in all a really enjoyable day

thanks Bruce - can we put you down for the 2014 HQ?

Someone should also have added:

You have failed.

Your mind is weak.

You are part of Agoth.

You are at one with Agoth.

You are at one with the Void.

You are within the Void.

The Void is You!

There is nothing but the Void!

There is nothing but the Void!

The Void is All-Encompassing!

THERE IS NOTHING BUT THE VOID!
