As usual, many thanks to Pat and his crew for an excellent event. Gorious weather, interesting plot, some firm fights, great food... Where was everyone??? C'mon people, support your low level events!

Thanks to my fellow players for doing a very good job I thought despite only being five in number, especially Rob, I know it's tough being the only fighter in a group...

L8R,
Adam.

Indeed Many thanks to all who monstered for us and made it fun. I loved it loads, makes me wish i could play both the adv weekend and the HQ but it looks like i'll be monstering them instead (hopefully).

Many thanks to Pat for running and coping with 5 players and all our faffing.

And Creen and the Kitchen crew for the great food

And finally thanks to my fellow players, for a great time.

Laters

Karl

Bits I loved

Drill sergeant Ravi - Thanks Bruce!

Being chased about not just by the north wind but thanks to Ivak teasing the Khalid in to chasing me because Kelvin can't look after his stick..and of course Anebir being a chaos fiddler as he puts it.

The fight circle combats, they were fun to watch and be in.

And all the other stuff that would take too much time to say i loved, but I did thoughly

I don't normally post thanks etc, but it was a fun event and thankfully not too hot...

being the only warrior did help in the fight circle so that was good

thanks to all the players and monsters for making it all an interesting time......

lastly

please don't goad the barbarian by bolting him

yep had a blast

sorry to Matt for Sunday morning grumpiness but lets all learn the lesson that its just not funny to deliberately go for the head and continue to do so when being told not to eh?

and Rob - whats the fun of having a barbarian on the party unless you goad him by casting spells at him :-0 especially since you can take a bolt :-D

I would like to thank Pete, Rachel, Bruce, Alex, Deb and Pat Burden for all of their help and support in making the event what it was.

The party were great fun and really got invovled in everything that was thrown at them (there were only 5 of them, so they didn't have much choice).

Cheers everyone.

At the risk of being sycophantic, I must also add my sincere thanks to crew and comrades. It was probably the best event Tarquin has been out on, as he was always involved and stayed vertical quite often !

p.s. I also loved the Training Mission with Bruce as the Sgt - took me back about 50 years, to when I joined the real Army and met people just like him !!
