Back from Candleston after staying on to do extra stuff around the site - I definitely feel broken now!

Best bits for me were:

♠ The trap section all working out. I was a little apprehensive it would be too easy/hard, or I would mess up with the order of the keys or accidentally lock the lock-pick into the chest, but it seemed to work out just right. As I predicted, Lan would drop through the breach in the wall and blow up his leg.

♠ Walking in as Medlar and saying a boat had crash landed in the forest to the utter shock of the party. Someone (I think the Baron) saying something along the lines of "they don't bloody mean a boat when they say the Arc do they?"

♠ Bertrand Guillame Despard's fight with Smudge (gonna try to remember that name for next time I play a Knight of Our Dark Lady with Rich in the party...)

Can't wait for August now.

I enjoyed that moment too... "are you saying there's been a boating accident?"

As above, huge piles of thanks to Pete and his stirling crew, the cooks and fellow party members.

A very fun event. It made a nice change just playing someone who hit things and generally could ignore the brain-twisting stuff.

Memorable moments:

* The post-mindtrap running skirmish along the path.
* The epic judge/mistweaver fight and surviving falling off the 15' castle wall in the dark with only a bruise as a result
* The huge Shadowsfall mosh

Can't wait for August, see you there mateys! Yarrr.

L8R,
Adam.

Must say I thoroughly enjoyed it on the whole.
But I struggled in places.
Big thanks to monsters the party the cooks and the refs.

My favorite moment was when Bellem grassed up quicksilver. The look on Darrels face was an absolute picture.

I also enjoyed the dynamic of the witch fight 3 evil priests trying not to use lethal force was quiet a challenge.

I also enjoyed dropping my stored fatal on Mr Short when he attacked me.

The party interaction was great heartfelt and at times quiet challenging.

All in was a great escape and just what the Doctor ordered.

Once again thanks to all involved.

My thanks also!

Had a good time, especially with the various roleplaying opportunities provided by the party - press the ice elven race button and see what happens! - and the monsters.

Some of the fights were also satisfyingly difficult: "I've still got one leg left! Bring them on!" (If only Bruce had let him do the other one!)

Cheers,

D.

I still say Debs should have taken the shot. We were being very cheeky.
