Many thanks as usual for a cracking event to Mike, Bruce, the wonderful catering ladies and the sterling monster crew both new and veteran.

Also thanks to my fellow players, we started shakily but got our act together quickly. Lucky really as there were some excellent and VERY firm fights in there which really pushed us. It was good to finally complete the trifecta of Morgothian creatures slain: Dragon, Nazgul and now Balrog!

See you in December for more Christmas madness.

L8R,
Adam.

Lots of fun being part of the up to 20ish monsters breaking against the 'Giles Wedge' formation.

Can't spend long on this as I have 3 online poker games on the go. Since the game it hasn't left me much time for eating / sleeping / going to work etc. I seem to have a few debts to pay too, anyone want to but a 2006 TDI Golf? Where's that 'Cash for Gold' envelope?

Yep great fun, and way too many monsters
I feel that I should have played a warrior though...some of the moshes looked great from where I was standing.

Craig, we could tell you are a poker pro.

sorry I arrived late, I was irresistibly drawn towards candlestone...
Thanks for beating the poop out of me, and standing still to be beaten, I can't run so fast anymore.
Monster crew were ace, so was support, but a special mention to the players, you were all cheerful and happy and aggressive. What a lovely party. A good sense of humour can deflect all but the worst bolts...

Indeed fun was had

Thanks especially to Mike for all his past work your input will be missed but I'm sure we will beat you back to it one day

Fav bits

Players faces when the 7 new monsters hit their flank oh for a camera.

Kinver overland so easy to monster when you have almost twice as many monsters as players !

Playing 'M' walking out of the player base and turning to 'PQ' um do you think anyone actually understood me

Till January

It was a cracking event! Gutted I couldn't be there for the whole lot, but given that my legs still ache, it might be a good thing

I have to say that I think it was the best monster crew that I've ever had the pleasure of being hit by with plenty of fights to rival even some of the Corsair's HQ fights. Great stuff (undodgable bolts notwithstanding )

Great party that really worked well together and was always fun - it was also good to play with some characters I never have before. Food was of course fantastic - the list goes on.

Thanks especially to the Mike and ref team for providing a truly memorable event.

So cheers to everyone - see you next year
