Guys i need a little bit of advice.

Me and ant are getting together the last bits of my costume and ALL of his (sigh) together for the feb event.

For ants char he wants some more knitmail but we all know how hard it is to come across and for all my skills i cant knit .
I had an idea of trawling the charity shops and trying to find a jumper that was thick chunky knit and spraying it with silver spray paint with a little bit of gold to give it a bit of a distressed look.
What do you all think?
Do you think it would give it the right look?
Its to be worn under his overcoat so it wouldnt have to look pristine if you get me.
I jus wanted to get you guys thoughts on it.

Cheers guys.

Hi Fay

I've got some pretty distressed chain that I use for my Herofest char that Anthony can borrow.

It only covers the upper arms and enough of the chest to hold it together, so if it's to be worn under a coat it might suit nicely.

It also has the advantage of not being too heavy that way - important for me coz I'm dead soft and can't wear full chain all weekend.

Let em know if that sounds good and I'll bring it along....

I guess this will all depend how it looks.
If you put on a sring vest and go it's metal armour then you will probably get a no, but it if looks good you are in with a chance.

Well I've brought a jumper and sprayed it covering myself in the process and it doesn't look too bad tbh.
It's currently drying, as long as my dad stops dragging it back in the house lol.
So I think it'll need another coat in places once dry and then we'll see from there.

Phil ant says cheers dude Hell let you know as soon as we've seen how this goes.
