Randolphin

The Thissessin were not controlled they work for the morgothians as scouts and assassins.
Those under Carfleen were just doing there job as far as I'm concerned.

Diplomacy with such creatures is a waste of time.
They choose there side and lost now they must pay the price of hunting those of the Kern Vally .

Kakorot

It is good to see you well and it is good to speak with one who at least has a smattering of commen sense.

Oh, and Randolphin. I wouldn't get mad at the sword or person, I'm just mad....

Vallen my friend, emotions seem to cloud your judgement. you are an intelligent being. think about it for a while. All the evidence points to some form of control being used. Now answer this if you will. if you were possessed by another evil priest and whilst possessed killed another valley member. who is responsible?

Oh dear,

Any of our enemies hearing this conversation would be rubbing thier hands with glee.

It seems that several people here have lost sight of what it means to be part of The Valley. The peoples of The Valley managed to overcome many obstacles but only because they were ultimately a united people.

We were overcome by the Empire but only because The Empire work by the same modus operandi. Yes, they often compelled their subjects, but they do all work together for a common goal. They only overcame the Valley people as they were far more numerous than ourselves.

Fortunes Keep has carried on that tradition of common goals and cooperation between opposed factions. The primary reason that our groups are so successful compared to the other towers is that we field mixed ability groups. It is well known that the most difficult opponents we face are those groups which contain members with a wide range skills.

In any mixed group there are always extreme points of view but as longs as those individuals abide by the common law they will always be welcome within the alliance.

It amuses me greatly that anyone could be so singlemindedly focused on any one aspect of life to actively deny that the other should exist.

As for the comments on conflict and war, well wars create hurt and anger, that is true, but in truth, all wars end. What should happen then? Should the victor continue to kill the defeated until none remain, expending more of thier own lives in the process? I can see no wisdom in that path.

It seems that at the moment Fortunes Keep stands relatively alone. That doesn't bode particularly well if one considers the history of tower owners. I know that the Kalid and Halmadons Heights have conspired against us and caused us to lose two towers but perhaps if we had been more focussed on making allies rather than enemies that wouldn't have happened or we might have some warning of it, at least.

I doubt that my words will sway any opinions, but know this, I only endeavour to speak the truth (and perhaps come common sense).

On another matter, Vallan, given that this is the Barracks and you are High Priest it could be construed that you are speaking for your guild? Perhaps inflamatory talk should be reserved for the barracks? I look forward to a very long chat on our next mission.

Ichabod.

Randolphin

You are a highly respected member of our Tower and a very intelligent person but maybe it is your judgment that is clouded.

What evidence do we have. A Thissessin shamen tells us he has had a dream ?

Sounds like an excuse not control, there is absolutely no evidence they were controlled , Non.

We actively hunted down Carfleen if he had the power to control others would he not have used his power on us ! or at least a member of our party ?

These creatures can not be trusted, they do not even admit to what they have done or appologise for there actions agaist our people.

Instead they claim to have had a dream. And this is our evidence !!

I do not think it is my Judgement that is clouded and I will not be caught of gaurd by such a treacherous race.

Ichabod
I have left you my notes from the last mission.
I am also fully aware of where we are and I am in full belief that the matter of the Thissessen should be discussed before we have anything more to do with them.

Vallan High Priest of the Reapers.

Randolphin, I don't think we have had the pleasure of venturing together but I have often seen you in the library so count weight to your words.

It interests me that you think the Thissessin are/were 'Controlled' and that evidence points to this?
To control a whole tower I some how doubt it?

I would imagine that the Thissessin were in some form of alliance with Barud Tirgil by nature of geography if nothing else.

I do however feel that they should be herd out as my dear Ichabod points out we do stand alone so should not rule out any option put our way.

I believe once again Ichabod speaks sense. I thank you for your words of wisdom at this time. Perhaps it is better left for discussion one evening on a later mission vallen? I believe you intend to join us in Gilden far do you not?

Ichabod,
I agree that our strength lies in our differences and are proud of them, yet it is not Reapers who leap out of the ranks to subdue the behavior of others in parties. I encourage individuality to say the least...

Has anyone checked vallan recently to see if he is under the influence of anything because from my experience he normally is and this raising in hate and bitterness might be from an outside source.
