Tashiro,
we may have a problem. when we enter the mission in april, i have a strong reason to belive the Oppawang is alive, or if not alive then around in some fasion, on my last mission i came across some oppawang flunkies and they seemed very intrested in the sword i picked up off the oppawang's 'body'. They flung dark invocations at me and nearly deactivated me, just in case i think aruna has his robe and maybe should be warrned just in case. im going to look into the oppawang alot more but if you have any info your self send it my way. one piece of info about him was the fact he wasnt always a realm lord and also possibly the weapon maybe linked to him in some way wether we can use this to our advantage or not will be seen. also if anyone has more info upon him themselfs please foward to myself or washou at the workshop!

workshop, wolfhold

Aww dang I misread it as 'massage for Toshiro'.

In that case I can only contribute a lot less, as when I was on Akari I'm sure I remember some bloke saying the Oppawang was originally alive and then he was jobbed by an Alliance group led by someone named something similar to 'Dreadlord Araikas'.

After that the Oppawang was some undead evil bloke going around causing trouble and for some reason he took a shine to Sergeant Orlando.

massage for tashiro? you fleshy ones have some stange ideas about rubbing each other and other things, even thralk was moaning the fact i dont wear clothes as such on our privious missions, im a golum made of stone, any bits that seem sticking out are either removable or stored away in side me, any way you say sargent orlando had his attention, may i ask in what way? also the fact that the oppawang is undead would answer a couple of questions (realy must visit the libary at some point not dragged by washou back to the work shop again for work).

well i'm sure he weren't interested in the metal sword that the orlando fellow had hehe. he might have a powerful sword but i bet me and a few mages could bolt him back into what ever dirty hole he came from!

massages quite nice specially for relaxation, but i prefer to train in using me magic to bring darkness to make the enemy flee in terror and scorn my name.

i would like to know what this oppawanga blade does. it sounds interesting? will the enemy come after it often and will that give us a chance to leave them in total unending oblivion where nothingness exists and makes them sweat in the night at the terror they will behold.

Ere Obelisk, if youse is interested in what happened on that mission, Teppic did a very long report. Skip down to the paragraph before "The Night of the Oppawang" for more info.

Lucy is correct, we've known for a long time that he was originally a man, some kind of priest if I remember correctly though the exact details escape me, it's been quite a while. As she mentions, his interactions with the alliance started long before I came to your land when a group came to my home plane of Sho Lun.

I am saddened, but not surprised, to hear that the Opawang might be back or at least on his way back. Entities of that level of power are not easy to get rid of. Perhaps the minions are trying to collect his equipment in a bid to reform his avatar?

And Blackthorn, you are sadly mistaken if you think that you "and a few mages" could deal with him, let alone do him any harm at all. The Opawang was one of the most dangerous opponents I've fought and I have fallen to his blade more than once. I don't plan to repeat the experience. If he returns we must deal with him harshly.

Well in his hands each blow does the physical and spiritual blows of eight men, a cause mortal invocation and breaks the limb it hits.
In a mortal's hands it is merely a medium power spiritual weapon.

hmm with that weapon maybe not me and a few mages...

maybe me and ten mages five warriors and four priests might be over kill.

but as long as i can make his passing slow and painful. i'm happy.

with such a fierce weapon it would be an honour to carve my name in his flesh and leave everyone knowing who did it to such a foe. plus to weild such a thing would be a great thing. like seeing the perfect blossom of spring. it would not be a wasted life obtaining it.

thankyou lucy ill have a look, maybe your right tashiro, in that case we need to look into the possibality of:
a) using his own power against him
b)removing the esence from the blade/obejects to another more inaccesable obeject
c)trapping the opawang's power someway
d)find a way to completely destroy him utterly onnce and for all
ill go as far as ask the aspects of death if i have to!

i say this not for my own benafit but also for the benafit of all those he has touched with his evil, i once asked you tashiro what honor was, i think i know now mine is now stop ultimate evil like his destroying people, dont worry im not goin zelot there must be balence after all good/evil/nuatral but there is evil and being a pain in the gears for everyone, and he just made my list.......

Ere, Lucy, do you do extras?
Does it come with a 'happy ending?'
