Hail fellow travellers;

My name is Camelot I have recently joined your Hospitallers Sect from Halmadons Heights

My journey here has been a long and ardous one and my soul is scarred from the death I've seen and dealt.

Too much blood lies on my hands and since leaving Halmadons Heights I have swore to not harm another; thou I will support my companions in whatever killing they wish to do I'll no longer lift my own hands to slain another no matter how just the cause.

I've been to many a strange place and seen many a strange thing and I hope I'll prove to you a loyal and trust worthy friend.

I've recently been accepted into the priest hood of your Hospitallers Sect and I reckon I'm as full with the power of healing as any man can be.

I've still got my knightly armour, though I've cast off the title and my sword and shield, I still bear many of the relics that have kept me alive all these years. My faith in these relics will guide and protect us an any journey we must make.

I look forward to travelling with you and would hope you'd make a few introductions here

Pleased to meet you, Camelot.

My name is Quicksilver; I am a Captain in our Order of Saint Michel.

I have recently been tasked to attend a meeting by Sir Arren Hardwicke, adjutant of the Order, with your erstwhile fellows from the Heights. At this meeting we will make final plans for a great quest against darkness, as part of an Immortal Game.

Perhaps it is fate that brought me back to Orin Rakatha, against my expectations and wishes, so that our paths would cross? For we will have need of one who strives to remain on the noble path that you have now chosen...

Lux,

It will be interesting to hear about that, Randolphin. If you have the time now, and don't mind repeating later, I would be glad to hear more now.

I was involved in several actions against the Dymwan Cadre, of which I understand Otion Wraithchild was once the leader, back during the Dymwan Wars.

I'm also aware of speculation that 'Wraithchild' implies that he is the son of the Wraith of Doom, i.e. Lord Cardanaris. Do you know anything of this?

It would be a pleasure sorceror quicksilver,
To the best of my knowledge Otion is the son of lord Cardinaris although what he has become now is a matter of debate.
I witnessed his amalgamation with the 'darkness' an entity which seems to be a manifestation of the darkness between the planes (strong links with the sea of agoth i believe).
This darkness often works by assualting the mind. many of the picknickers have suffered extreme delusions-
Sweetpea- an extreme desire to extinguish lights at night
Spork- an extreme fear of having no light in the darkness
Yarp- A belief that he had been impregnated by a creature of darkness
Sasha- A belief that time was jumping or being lost at random intervals
Myself- an extreme fear of dark nebulous shapes (to the point i cannot move from fear)

The darkness also manifested as several creatures of abhorrant and extreme strangeness and horror. these could not be slain by normal methods and instead had to be banished by means of a ritual which we discovered linked to the nature of the stars. i still hold the starstones which where part of the ritual as well as the intructions though i am loathe to explore their nature to deeply lest the darkness look back once more. The is another matter of whic i will not speak lest it become of utmost importance. suffice it to say i have had much closer contact with the darkness than any sane elf would ever wish

If you have any questions please feel free to ask

There's no need for titles, Randolphin.

Are you sure that this 'darkness' was between planes, and not between Realms on the Plane of the Sleepless Dead?

I heard that the Humacti were aware of the gap(s) between the realms, but that it was (they were) not sentient until recently. If I understood correctly, the sentience in the gap(s) is Agoth.

You see I'm wondering if Agoth was a previously existing (and powerful) entity that replaced 'the darkness' when it was removed/embodied.

Or maybe if 'the darkness' *was* between the planes it is somehow linked, in a way we don't understand, to the gaps between realms on the plane of the sleepless dead...
(Maybe there's one realm for each plane with living things on it, and gaps between realms correspond to 'darkness' between planes?)

All wild guesswork, of course! Your thoughts?

Well met all, it is always good to have stout wielders of the good sphere to fight against the darkness. Camelot, it saddens me to hear of your anguish, and I hope your faith brings you some comfort.

Randolphin this touch of darkness that has driven fear into you is worrying and dangerous, I will seek to use Saint Michels strength to ward you from this.

Apolgies for my lack of conversation, my task of contacting with the Lizardmen and inviting a representative to visit Kingsfort is proving a slow process, there appears to be 2 distinct groups in the dunes/near the sea, one keeps close to the river and say they follow "Sobek" and the others are closer to the sea and say they follow "Lan'Cet" a coming of the Shark God. I plan to send messages to both Sobek and Lan'Cet inviting them to the fort. Can anyone explain more about this Shark God?

I am also speaking with the common folk, to ensure the King’s authority is recognised especialy now that he has left with the council for the Empire. He has instructed me to ensure that two more tasks are completed. To handle royal charters for caravan routes and their guards, and to help organise the festivities and ceremony for his upcoming wedding.

I didn't realise you'd be coming back to Orin Rakatha too!

Thank you for the update. I hope the others are also doing well in their assigned tasks; we will have to share everything we've done, and what we have found, when we're all together.

All I know about the Shark God is that there is some sort of Lizardman cult which worships 'it', and that there have been many comings of 'it'. Personally I think it's just a strange superstition; and that 'Shark Gods' are basically powerful Lizardmen who are widely recognised by their people as being powerful leaders.

My advice would be to contact Sobek (and try to get his perspective) first. Historically, comings of the Shark God have always -- or at least almost always -- been in conflict with our people.

I will also be joining you.

Anything that threatens our Alliance should be dealt with and it will be nice to return to Murandir again.

I look forward to working with you all.
