Treatment of constructed beings. 8 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 5
hello all as some of you know my name is obelisk and i am a golum. While out in the field i would ask you all to make sure before destroying any constructs that you make sure it can not be subverted in someway to our side instead of just demolishing the poor things , most golums don't have the free will like myself and i would appriciate it if they can be turned to our side please send them direct to my self or to my fixer known as 'washou' who resides within wolfhold.
On another note if you do destroy them please could you send as many spare parts to the same person/s as we aim to increase the not only the qulity of life of the golums within the valley but may be even create new soilders for us.

one last note if any one has contact with certain laberinth of xenos dwellers please convay a message for me 'STAY THE HELL AWAY FROM ME, IM FED UP OF THE AMBUSHES AND CONSTENT HASEL FROM YOUR SO CALLED DEAL MAKERS TO GET ME BACK TO LABERINTH' any way now i got that off me gears i shall end it there

many thanks

Obelisk

Konichiwa Obelisk San.

I suggest that you search out an individual by the name of Eventeris. He was one of the Labyrinth's leaders I believe (I forget the name for them) until he escaped them, aided by myself and others. He was working on instilling drones with individuality such as you seem to have yourself. If I remember correctly he set up a base of operations near the SW shore of Rainbow lake. I seem to remember the Starkad mountains having something to do with it as well.

This happened some years ago so my memory of the details is not precise. I'm not sure if there was a report for that mission although we encountered him again a little later on a mission that was called "The Prisoner" I believe.

[OOC, ooops, should have posted as Garret]

I too remember Eventeris from the Prisoner mission with Toshiro-san, though I can add little to what he's said.

I would ask though - how do you suggest turning something with no free will to any cause? Surely a lack of free will rather precludes them from making the necassary choice?

But I'll happily bring you the bits if you like, so long as there's a Wolfhold to bring them to...

Aye, I remember Eventuris - strange bloke.

Hang on aren't constructs made of mud & stone and the like?

You seriously want us to collect that stuff? Theres loads of it hanging around on the floor - you can pick it up yourself.....

thankyou tashiro and garrett for the advice, i will serch out this eventeris in hopes of a conclusion to my predicament. first off, wert, not all golums are made of stone and mud and the like, according to my fixer (washou) there are many types of matrials we can be made of including old aromur, gold and even flesh and bone and some stones, as you know, are harder to get hold of than others.

i belive that all golums must be atleast given a choice of slavery, destruction or freedome yes most golums are minless(souless if you like) but that can change! look at me i suspect at one point i was just like them mindless, subserviant and heeltroden but now i am free to do what i like. in any case a little more thought to the matter is appritiated thank you.
