TOPIC: Is Gilden Far?

Maggot.... Maggot, no that name's not ringing any bells.

How pleasant. That must mean my reputation has, at least in this case, preceded me. Or, possibly, I simply don't recall having met you. I suppose either could be amusing.

If I didn't know better, which one could certainly argue I don't, then it may be possible to infer that you have missed me... how very sweet.

Let's assume I've been preoccupied with matters of my own business. What could possibly be of interest to me in this field then?

Oh and anyone know when Sector Seven is opening up for residents, I remember a lovely farm house their I'd love to tarry awhile in again.

Your name is known to me, Voidstalker.

Should you ever wish to discuss theories of who "set you up" with House Tilduring, I'm sure we could have a jolly chat about it.

I certainly have some passing recollection of you harlequin. Weren't you present for some promotion or other? Oh and to the best of my knowledge sector seven is open once more. Although I'm not sure who has claimed it.

I am surprised you did not want to go to ethertown, I'm sure someone mentioned you were a sorceror and most of us reside there now. Although darkhome is tempting now. There is work to be done at the black school or what remains of it.

Now now chaps, and chapess of course!

Settle down please. This conversation seems to be going off onto some darker route with distinctly menacing overtones which I positively don't like and won't abide.

Now, Harlequin has kindly helped to illuminate me regarding me original query so to then harangue him unduly is petty and low.

Please desist!

Ichabod.

I must say I did not notice any dark overtones? If any offence was caused by my comments I do apologise. Since the incident my memory is not what it was. As for Gilden Far I'm sure we will find out plenty upon arrival. I notice from the duty roster you will be accompanying us on this mission Ichabod.

And to Harlequin I am very much unlikely to infer any offence to a member of my own guild now am I.

Ah, now I must apologise in turn.

Randolphin, perhaps I mistook your vagueness of memory as leading questions and if so beg your pardon.

I still feel there has been a hint on animosity in the conversation however.

Let's say no more about it.

I am indeed on the up coming mission and will endeavour to document all the comings and going thereof. Hence my interest in our destination.

Forewarned is forearmed eh?

Also, Randolphin, I'd be fascinated to hear of your exploits after the last time we met when we were parted by those rough shadow types?

I am happy to answer what questions I can when we meet, which is fortunate as I believe you have something I would very much like returned as well

So randolphin, what did happen to you cause i do remember the words when we met that shadowmancer the first time, " I will cut you open and find out all i want." well it dont look like he cut you. If i may talk to you later privately i would greatly appreciate the opportunity.

So after a week in the wilds i've found out what i found out going on the last mission. I believe this is bigger than i realised. do any of the forestals know any more than what was announced last week yet

Ichabod, a while since we last journeyed together how are you since yule tide, much happened?

Hello, who are you? i dont believe we have met Harlequin?

Greetings leitha, it has been some time I believe.
As for your questions regarding the Shadowmancer I had dealings with that is not a matter for discussion and certainly not one I wish to openly debate.

His threats regarding cutting me open as your put were somewhat empty so you have no need to be concerned if that is your meaning.

Ichabod, I will discuss certain matters with you as you may have a greater understanding, by the way those 'shadowy types' that you mentioned where in fact shades in the service of a Shadowmancer, I apologise now that i was unable to assist in dealing with them. I hope the gift I left you was sufficient to enable you to deal with them.

Yes Randolphin, your unexpected present was most welcome and useful although my ability to destroy elementals is quite limited, given my pacifist nature.

I do believe that, in essence, elementals are not dissimilar to the unliving and perhaps, with enough research, thought and experiment, I may eventually reveal some way to banish or dispel them rather than to use the normal crude techniques of physical destruction. Have you ever heard of such a thing?

I look forward to a most enjoyable conversation on several matters when we meet in the field (away from prying ears, don't you know!)

I say, can ears pry?

Leitha, old chap, I've been squirrelled away in the library these past months but with so many missing it seems that even I may be of some use in the field!

It seems I'd better not get too used to the Tavern.

Ichabod.
