Just like to say many thanks to Paul, Rich H and Shaun for a really enjoyable event.

I had a really nice time and it was good to get out and play after quite a long absence and it has certainly got me in the mood to play some more next year

Thanks to the great monsters, always cheerful and enthusiastic (and no complaints about me hitting hard - bonus!). Also many thanks to the Cook (whatever his name was ), really good food and nice to see his "guest" appearances, particulalry his smug and irritating Dymwan and as Kelnozz (almost as good as the original ).

Lastly thanks to the players for putting up with me. Was really great fun to be with you all, even if I was a bit rusty to start with.

See some of you in a few weeks.

Bruce

P.S. Where did I put that shovel?

I had allot of fun, thanx to all the monsters for letting me donk them on the head!

Apologies to the Shambling mound!

The last night was 'Propa Old Skool' thanx to the Rich, Alex, Paul combo, and just goes to prove you can still make a party burn through 19000 power and push the players to their last drop of blood. It not NicyQuest just yet, but i want my £20 back, you missed Bruce !!

Saying that Fried Breaky was v Nice!

Even more inspired for January now!

A Big thanks to all involved
The party..
The healers for keeping me alive and in all the fights.was touch and go a couple of times LOL
The front rank for keeping an eye on me and teaching me some great tactics
The mages for giving me the oppertunity to perform the ritual at the climax of the game despite my lack of experiance .I must admit i did consider dropping the shield and running off LOL.
Everyone for helping me out with the rules and my lack of knowledge(much appreciated i have learnt a lot)
The Monsters
there were to many off you,you were to way to energetic and far to good at your jobs LOL..fantastic job.
Alex for keeping us all well fed and watered to his usual high standerd.
Sean for looking after us all and last but not least...
Paul for spending his birthday keeping us all amused and especially for his last encounter self sacrificial, self imposed beating at the hands of the party... awsome.
Favourite bit
the khalid leader who stood outside shouting that if we didnt come outside so he could kill us he would get very angry.....Clasic

A huge thanks from me to everyone involved.

Not too sure about this picking up weapons and actually taking part in encounters. Too much like hard work! I suspect that after Saturday night, many of the party would be inclined to agree!

Special thanks to Ziggy, Nick, Jed, Tom and Michael for their excellent monstering having been thrown in the deep end.

See many of you in a few weeks!

Regards

R.

Yes, thanks all - refs, monsters and Alex (I thought the food was top notch.

Particularly enjoyed the big fight on saturday night (despite dying). Knowing a little about each of the foes we were going to face really does set up the encounter well. All our great plans went out of the window in the first 30 seconds or so.

Still think we should have made the ritual rectangle smaller, perhaps 2' by 4', at least that way Michael couldn't run around!

Just to say I enjoyed feeding and monstering for such a great bunch of people. If any event could sum up the whole ideal of a club spirit, this event was it!
I haven't enjoyed an event this much for a long time, so thanks to everyone involved, it was emotional.......
