Once again, a huge thanks to everyone who made this event what it was. Massive tiring fun! Brilliant crew, brilliant party.

Fav Bits

The 'warm up' Kalid fight on Friday night
The infestation of the stables...why a polar bear?
The puppets and the Puppetmaster for atmos and disturbing imagery...kiss my dolly!
The Mist Shaman's connect 4 tourney...suitably mad
The 'monster built' CB fight...cheers guys, what i'd written was pants!
The truly inspired shark cult encounter. Nick, Tom and Mark, you were spot on. Thankyou. We await the arrival of Stan-Lee with eager anticipation!
The final mosh, which aparting from being a great fight, meant that I could finally collapse and have a breather.
And finally, Adam's face when he finally twigged the theme of the event. Class.

Special thanks to Alex W, SFB, Pete and Paul for all of their support in making it all happen.

Wishing you all a very happy christmas and new year from a very tired but satisfied referee.

Rich.

thanks to the chef for a great set of meals. which kept us all afloat and moving.

thanks to the refs team for been such great sports and making a great event happen

thanks to the monsters for all of your work, it made for a very fun experience.

thanks to the other players for some great roleplaying and lots of different ideas.

fav bits.

the halmadon heights duel turning into a barroom brawl and then deciding this is silly. i'll make it look proper and duel someone.

the whole idea of the nativity, clicked after someone goes a huge star in the sky.

the laughing undead on the first encounter great fun.

the fight with the goblins and orks, always fun.

the wizards concillium fight in the potsd trying to destroy the healer and trying to out flank and lay down power hammers when ever i could.

merry christmas to you all and a happy new year.

Hi,

Thanks again for an great event.

Apologies to the monsters for all those slips!

My memorable bits were:

Being deliberately under impressed with the quality 'star' above the stables - sorry Bruce!

Taking one for the party (as only a non-combatant can) by grovelling to the Aldonar silver face bloke and getting maimed for my trouble.

The excellent chat with the very nice but very deaf Concillium Sorcerer.

Cheers, and have an excellent Xmas and New Year!

Mick.

Fav bits

The POTSD just so funny and frightening at the same time

Drokal and Kudos' cock-tell hour (More like every 1/2 hour) we really should market that drink.

Biting my tongue as a ref to not say things

Have a good break and see you on the far side.

Thanks to all present for another great XMas theme. I didn't really have the time spare to go on it but was glad I did anyway. My brain obviously needed a break. (and it certainly took one )

Good to see a few peeps who've been absent for a while. Come back and visit us again soon.

"Stan-Lee" will surely be the leader of a Marvelous cult...

I'll get my coat.

L8R,
Adam.

Just a quick one, to say thanks to all who attended, it was an absolute pleasure of an event to run!
My favorite bit was the bit from start to finish when party and mosters were smiling and laughing!!
Well done to all, I loved it!!
I took a handful of pictures, feel free to have a look.

I would like to say a massive thank you to:-

my fellow monsters....its people like you that stop me from rolling a character. Srsly.

Rich, Alex and Bruce for reffing responsibly (lol?) despite the vast quantities of intoxicants imbibed.

To the players for letting us confuse, abuse and amuse them.

Special props go to:-

mike for the honourable duel, if you had challenged me at the beginning of the fight and not 5 exhausting minutes in, that would have been one traumatised druid.

To Karl who has a nice moustache, eh señorita?

to Kudos for introducing me to that beautiful cocktail on saturday night

and to shaun who scared the crap out of Brother Guppy with just his physical presence when we were robbing you blind.....on a side note I cant believe that sky was the ONLY one to give chase and that I got away from that alive....and with all of your cutlery!

Thanks again and i can't believe i didnt start doing this earlier in my life.

See you at the next one,

Nic

It's always nice to be mentioned in these thank you emails and Nic as someone else once said "you totally get it", you are a pleasure to intimidate or cower from in every encounter!

Saying that Drokal was in a particuarly bad mood so you guys did get the thick then of the hammer attitude-wise at that point. As for giving chase. . I was still knackered from the previous fight and Duergar don't need cutlerly we have beards to mop up the mess

Seriously great event, I must do a write up. My thanks to everyone involved as always.

Have a happy christmas all!
