I would like to say a big thank you to Chioma, Stephane and Sky for running an enjoyable adventure (especially as I didn't stay for the debrief and manage to thank them in person).

Also thank you to the great monsters who fought through the heat and managed to stay with us (thank goodness). You were always fun and good natured and there were some great fights.

Thanks to Alex for the top notch food as always.

And finally thanks to the players, a good bunch of guys to work with; Doomish were excellent.

Some nice moments throughout, with some good role playing to be had.

And finally Nathan is in the Warrens where he belongs

Cheers

Ditto on the thanks to the refs, monsters and Alex, some great encounters and top notch fights.

Highlight include telling the shadowsfall the bodies they were looking for were just round the back, taking on the temple guards in the doorway with Kylar and a terrifying moment on the last night when we were discussing Kiara
Me "Kylar doesn't seem the sort to be pleased if you were to sleep with his sister"
Renown "Yeh I don't think that would go down well"
Me "I wonder if she would?"
Remown "Oh look Kylar has just come outside"

Ben had a great time so thanks very much for making him feel included.

I've also got to say sorry for not sticking around for the debrief but as I was up and packed I figured I'd get a head start home.

Thanks to steph Chioma and Sky along with all the monsters for running such a good (and mask heavy) eventin the weather we had. Cheers to Alex too for the cracking food as always

Big thumbs up to the party for being great fun especially Hamish and Dougal for the valleys latest battle cries.

I particularly enjoyed the Shogun fight very atmospheric and even the sneak up there was nice and tense. As was the painting spirit encounter where we scattered to the four winds

Cheers

Shaun

Another "sorry for not being at the debrief" but it's Shaun's fault so that's all right.

Top marks to refs, cooks and crew particularly in the ferocious heat. When we walked out into the direct sun on Friday I did feel sorry for the monsters. Sooo glad I was playing a waggler with loose fitting clothes and a sun hat instead of an armoured warrior like last event.
It's been a while since I played a squishy so had some great "boots do thy work!" moments (Alex's Shadowsfall "Harm murder" attempt and the scary painting mayhem fight).

Thanks to Nick for the character plot hammering, always good fun.
(there was no way I was sitting down to talk in the middle of a bunch of CBs!)

And finally thanks to the party for being fun to be around. The new bods did very well I thought.

"Do 'im Dougal!"

Despite the heat - fun was had!!
Thanks to everyone - Alex, refs, crew and party.
Great to see new folks along too. You were the best!

Cheerio from me for a bit then - I reckon I'll see you all some time after the Cataclysm...

Have fun people. Missing you already!!

My thanks go to Sky and Stephane and our hardy little monster crew. I'm sure you will all be going to great events run by those two in the near future. Of course also to Alex for the food, Jenny and Sue for assisting him. And to all of the players for being upbeat, entertaining and very understanding of the extra stress our crew was under.

Favourite moment was probably the shock as Alex started smashing the painting up when he was meant to be burying it and the resulting spirit encounter.

Other than the spirit in the painting encounter, my favourite moment was when the party first met Nekituno hiding in the boat. Knowing Morgan as my flatmate from uni who has had literally no experience with fantasy past watching the Lord of the Rings movies perfectly roleplay a hilariously annoying Goblin Sorcerer in his second encounter was surreal.

I don't know when I'll next be that far south, but hope to see you all in one capacity or another soon.
