I just spotted that Giles has signed up!

This should be a real test of the very idea of mixed rank parties, and an interesting challenge for the referees.

In short, what a bizarre party. Let's see what happens...

High Level Party and Low Level party. No different to how the old theme weekends (remember them folks) were organised.

Except now there is a dedicated ref for each party so that one group doesn't get ignored in favour of the other.

Plus the low level party (in the main) has a massive amount of front. My only worry is them kicking off on the High Level encounters through excessive belligerence!

Looking forward to it.

Two parties? Old school, man!

Maybe it could be called... a theme weekend?

Then highs would be bored and lows massacred. It is this way because it works.

Especially as the high level encounters are likely to have;
a) more loot
b) more cash (to turn into loot)
c) nancier costumes (lets face it the tougher most tihngs get the poncier they look)

Chance of diplomatic indicents (meaning pile of low level corpses) is high!

I'd suspect that is high enough to lump you with the high levels given that most (if not all) of the low level bods don't have any status yet and are roughly clumped around 11-16ish.

That said I am just a player guessing stuff and it will all become clear on the event I am sure. There have been several examples of highs/lows mixing between parties in past theme weekends with little or no problem so who knows what the plot will bring . . . as long as it's not Mindflayers. . . or weird cheerful pathfinders who've had their brain eaten by mindflayers.

I have a cunning plan, we wait for one of the high levels to wander off with all the loot (that they have collected off their group of monsters) and then we jump them and bruise them to death, as let's face it they will be bouncing pretty much all the damage we do..........hmmm..........thinking this might not be a brilliant plan after all.
