Between you and that masked elf it is a wonder any drinking gets done in this place, but now that you have disturbed what little pleasure can be taken from this vintage...

I am given to understand that some senior members of the Wolfhold Merchants support King Paulandis, especially in their desire for a return to Murandir.

As yet, I am unaware of any of the Lords of Wolfhold making any public proclamations of fealty to him... but then the same could be said of Raucus too, no?

So does King Paulandis do any adventuring nowadays and is there any pictures of him in the libraries.

Are the Wolfhold merchants dai fah dyne or do they belong to another guild.

You're just not trying hard enough Harlequin! If you think for less time about what you intend to say, you can spend the time others are spending thinking about their responses drinking... It occasionally leads to problems, but for the most part the amount of beer consumed helps to cushion you from the beatings anyway!

Wolfhold merchants belong to Wolfhold. Dai-fah-Dyne are another Tower entirely. Who would you trust most on a cold dark night? Well again that's another question.

If you want to see King Paullandiss in action, I believe the Tower Gallery has some stylised drawings of the Crusade here: www.old.heroquest-larp.co.uk/gallery/2005/crusade/page_01.htm

Right at the very end of the last page of this book, there are some images of how the artist imagines the King's Coronation to have looked.

Ere Snipe

Can you reeeeally imagine the Steward or the T'an bloke or really any of the Council of Lords going down on bended knee to King Paullandiss?

I mean - Eremor? Spellsword?

Or for that matter, Mothac Storm?

Would the Fell Knights bow to a Micheliner?

Anyway, this political stuff is hurting my head. (It's definitely that and not the alcohol I tell you!)

But aren't the core of Wolfhold really derived from the Dark Brotherhood, and weren't they opposed to the Village? (until the Empire came along). So for what reason would they swear to the King? Is Lord Nightspawn about to pledge hisself?

I'm a bit confused about how big this Kingdom is.

Thank you for the information Lucy.

I will always stay close to the light but due to the rumours i heard about DFD and the fact i have never met a wolfhold merchant i would rather go with neither as i have never met a wolfhold merchant (this is no reflection or insult on them, dueto the fact i never met them i cant decide)and when i have seen or met the DFD i was always told never to sign anything. i would choose a tavern and a pint of rum.

gosh he looks a stern figure. he looks brilliant.

my god what are those sticks and that round tube. they look scary.

Hah! Now an argument regarding my commitment (or lack of it) to the wine sounds much more appealing than meanderings about the King...

However, it is well known Dibbler, that you are an idiot. So... I must sit here and await a more worthy or at least better armed (in the Wit department) foe. Unless, of course, it is a drinking contest you are after?

i would only be able to sustain myself to rum and whiskey and beer. i am no match for the wine, indeed i wouldnt walk away from the bar with wine in my belly. may i offer you a drink harlequin you sound a wise man, indeed for a tavern the ale is certainly tasty in here. i think youd drink me under the table.

what is it the king does or how does he rule us i understand we have our leaders of our guilds and towers but how does he rule all three KVA and still keep neutrility.

polotics does bring on the headaches, HOSPITLERS!

careful there - the only hospitaller in here is Dibbler and he's as likely to kill you than cure you -and never never eat anything he offer you either!

Harlequin - fair point, musings got out of hand and in the way of the drinking - try this wine its a fruity little number
