I'll be first to say thanks to the ref's, crew and cooks for this event..

A highlight for me was probably the trapped castle, with the final fight in the top against a few party members.
I also enjoyed the Shadowsfall/Mistweaver fight at the same location if for nothing more than it's sheer duration.

I must add it was 'good' to see party deaths for non fighting/roleplaying encounters.

Apologies for having to dash off near the end.. all is fine here though.

My thanks to all for making it such an enjoyable event to crew.

Fav bits

Kalid fight and the bolt then heal duel I had with Kevvie and Quickie.

The half breed/witch encounter and the good 'old style' fights with Rich, also watching the party 'fight' amongst themselves was most entertaining.

wish I could of stayed till the end but real life got in the way.

cheers all

Mark.

A big thankyou to all the monsters but especially to Sky and MBT for assistant ref duties and Chioma for designing the trap section and spending many hours making it work

Some great fights, brilliant roleplaying especially at meal times which had that frission of danger they don't normally

I had a great time running it :-D

The Judge & Mistweaver fight was epic (how did Adam not kill himself falling 30 foot??) we think 2 hours of actual fighting and 45 mins of battleboarding

I also like the different dynamic of the Witch fight and also the Crimson Feast fight was memorable

very tired now though....

I would also like to say heaps of thanks to all those who contributed to making this a great dungeon, which it was!

Firstly loooooads of kudos & thanks to Pete, who stood in at the last moment and did a terrific job running and co-writing the dungeon.

Thanks also to Fraser for his original vision and behind-the-scenes work for this dungeon.

And well done to all people who took up the reffing roles, including Bruce as our celebrity player ref (well heck I'm a fan even if Mike S isn't ), Sky & MBT on the kit wollering side of things. I know how much work it is even for a short dungeon so loud applause for doing it for 5 days!!

And also to our wonderful monster team who got stuck in, even if some weren't always sure what we were shouting at them (dark-firebolt 8, 80 hits... YOU!!!)

My favourite fights were the Kalid Crimson Feast and Saturday Shadowsfall where we wizards/priests actually got to cast wizardry spells and priestly invocations while our front line wore down the enemy bit by bit. I was enjoying the Judge fight too until my leg got dismembered, ah well

I'll probably remember more classic quotes/moments later, but one that stands out (aside from the general baiting of Quicksilver) is:

Scout report - Kalid ahead
Kevralyn to Giles: let's talk to them first
Kalid Crimson Feast leader: <something arrogant>
Giles: I am Giles, Assistant Guildleader of the Grey School of Magic, and I probably killed your parents
***FIGHT!!!!***

Also concluding within 5 seconds of meeting him that Judge Arsehole was an appropriate name for whoever-he-was and that Giles's assessment of him as a "dead man walking" was bang on

I also thought the fireworks in the dunes where the void was to signify the release of the fire wind was a very nice touch

Glad that the decision to attack the LoX was the right one! Dodgy gits!

More frothing thanks from this corner, too.

The monsters, refs and chefs were all fantastic, giving us players a superb experience for the whole event. Oh, and some people have too much energy. Far, far, far too much.

Thanks to all those who let me shamelessly take advantage of them (and mess them about). Especially Mark, Darrell, Jon and Rich. I literally couldn't have been there without you so you have only yourselves to blame.

So much action, so much plot. I had a whale of a time.

Obviously, I enjoyed the "What the hell is Caradac doing NOW?" sections. A lot. Thanks to Bruce and Pete for some seriously unexpected twists and to everyone else for either getting involved or putting up with it.

So much of the event was excellent but for me the Shadowsfall/Mistweaver section was a real pleasure.

Also, as has been mentioned by others, extra thanks to Chioma for the excellent puzzle section.

Top marks to all for keeping going through the whole event and for bouncing back when problems struck. Yes, Tarry, you too!

It was really good to see some people who I hadn't seen for simply ages but I guess your luck had to run out some time. And also nice to see new faces in the monstering team.

As the event went on, I got more and more unhappy about having to nick off early but needs must, sadly. Hope the end of the event was as good as the rest...

Again thanks to all the party were old so I could keep up the monsters were young and keen so I had time to rest after being fed by our lovely cooks.

Worst bit having to leave early but other things etc.

In hut fun playing the white college posh blokes with Alex whilst Pete poisons Quicksilver clearly knowing that id finish of the alcohol antidote part before it got to him

Judge/Mist Weaver fight epic fun especially toying with QS and having a huge sword and being able to out range Giles. 'Burble Gut Fantasia' Pete's thought for letting me make up my own names

Sarah's smiley face when talking to Simian knowing full well she was in prot everything I could do lol. Um and what ever happened to his body muhuhuhu

thanks to Pete for running it and glad I could help out a bit when ness in the ref department.

until August

My thanks too to
    all
involved (including the wonderful props team).

Thoroughly enjoyable weekend and regrets that I couldn't make it sooner. If required on future events, I am open to sponsorship deals!

Excellent to see old and new monsters alike.

Memorable moment for me was the mind-trap. Facing off against an impressive array of unpleasantness armed with a lowly meat tenderiser and the resultant tangle of arms and legs when we reappeared was most amusing.

Still undecided about the PvP aspect of the halfbreed fight, but yes Mark it was a bloody good scrap nonetheless!

My only down point would be that the refs had set the thermostat too high!

Rob - glad to hear all is well.

Mike - I have your kit safely stowed.

Till September if not before!

Really enjoyed monstering this event =] hopefully martin will have lots of good pics on his camera that I took during the fights I wasn't in or sky wasnt busy on =]got a few on my camera also so will be putting them up on facebook soon

favourite part i think was the hierarch of the bloodwind kai'ing off all of baron's touch attacks in a strangely violent thrusts

hope everyone is okay or recovering well... I still can't believe how lucky adam was not to hurt himself seriously badly falling off that ledge near the castle. hope you get better soon tarry x

Had a great time - was a really fun party, who didn't give me too much of a hard time.

Thought the people who stepped in at the last moment did a fantastic job - Pete / Sky / Chioma / MBT.

Monsters were ace, nice to see new faces and some old ones.

Am looking forward to August and September.
