he people of the village first arrived in Orin Rakatha at some time during High Sun. As the library opens we are coming to the end of our 10th year, year 11 starting in a few weeks time. In an attempt to reduce confussion with dates, the library will consider years to end as years did on Morendir, during winter at the end of the Snow Moon, and commence on the first day of the Cold Moon

Years will be annotated AR (Alliance Reckoning). Therefore the library opens in year 10AR, which runs from New Year's day (1st of Cold) to the 31st of Snow. Year 10AR contains the 11th anniversary of our arrival in Orin Rakatha, year 11AR contains the 12th anniversary, and so on.
