The Battle Board

Heroquest is a high hit system. When the Player Referee calls a Time Out he will often perform a Battleboard. During a Battleboard you tell the Referee how many times you were hit, what spells were cast on you and so forth and the Referee will tell you how badly injured you are. Also used to refer to the Character Sheet on which the Player Referee will record your injuries, Power used etc. A Battleboard generator (excel Spreadsheet) can be downloaded here.

This spread sheet has been developed for Microsoft Excel, and contains the rules required to generate your character. It uses Visual Basic scripting so you must allow the Macros to run on startup.

We have now updated the Battleboard to account for the removal of the Maximum AC limit due to the use of Minimum Damage, and also the new starting life - of 42. We do understand that existing players will have some extra points to spend!!!

There are currently two versions available

Battle Board v2.16 This is for excel 1999-2003.

Battle Board v2.16 for Excel 2007.

NOTE: Unfortunately, neither version works in openoffice calc.
