To help celebrate Heroquest's 30th year there will be a special "bonus/boon" linked to the Void campaign run during the first nine events of 2017 (February to October). Anyone who plays, referees or monsters will earn "Bloodline Points" in addition to the usual benefits obtained from attending events. The amount of Bloodline points earned are detailed below. These Bloodline points may be spent on any character (one or a multiple) as the player wishes. To spend the Bloodline points and earn the associated ability, each player should Contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to trade them in for the appropriate Boon card. Note that points cannot be spent and abilities awarded until the final Heroquest in October. Any questions should be directed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
Cost in Bloodline points for each ability are detailed below. Note that these costs are cumulative and you need the pre-requisites. So if you want Supreme Bloodline Pact 3 for one character you will need Pact 1 and 2 and that will cost you 20 Bloodline points in total; this is illustrated in the total cumulative costs being put in brackets. There are any number of possible combinations of abilities and characters. Please also note that characters still may only benefit from one Guardian Spirit per sleep period.
In addition to the above, any person who particiaptes in all events (Feb to Oct inc) will be granted a Mystics Blessing on one weapon of their choice, for whichever character they wish. The Mystics Blessing will increase the weapons base damage by one (Physical, Power or Magic - choose one) and also allow the weapon to be simultaneously ensorcelled and empowered by any means (even if not normally allowed). For example a sword could have a magical blade and a power weapon cast on it at the same time to do both magical and power damage (allows magical blades to be cast on blunt weapons and power to be cast on sharp) |
