What costume should I wear for LARP? |
|
The costume is an identifying feature of your character, which helps you to stand out and should be appropriate for the character that you are playing. Heroquest is a high fantasy system loosely based on medieval/Lord of the Rings style. Any costume that is associated with this genre would be suitable. Modern or futuristic costume (including firearms) is not suitable for the Heroquest game world. Costume - Get StartedA basic bland under-costume:
is a good start and should be supplemented by other attire (e.g. robes, tabard, armour, cloak). If you want to avoid sitting down with a sewing machine and creating something from scratch, there are plenty of places to pick up in-character costume - online larp stores, ebay, re-enactment fares. Ask HQ Admin for help if you need! Some random examples of costume are pictured below - feel free to ask on our website forums if you're looking for further inspiration!
