Home plane of the Morgothians. Home of a group of powerul undead, known as The Nine.
The Nine
"The Nine have little interest in Orin Rakatha per se, their primary concern being domination of their Home plane of Thranduil. One of the Nine, known as The Messenger in its previous incarnation, founded the Morgothian tower. Currently, it inhabits Lord Galadrin, ex-leader of the Grey Wardens, and its true name is Uvatha.
"However, it has since become apparent that a split has developed in the Nine. There are at least two contingents, one led by the Witchking of Angmar, who seeks personal power, and another, led by Khamul the Womaw (a.k.a. The Savage Chieftain), who still worships Morgoth. It is believed that Khamul is 'King' of the Easterlings, and is effectively Tower leader of the ex-Bethelim Tower, which lies in the Oasis of Souls. (Obviously Khamul cannot hold the status for the Tower, since undead cannot hold status on Orin Rakatha.)"
