Following is a brief description of the Laws by which we abide, this list is compiled from information from the Valley Libraries given to us by the more long standing Towers of Orin Rakatha.
- You must wear tower colours when travelling outside your Tower-also carrying a Pass assists in the verification of Identities within the Valley.
- You must not trade with Towerless-enforced by both trader Towers, in addition the Shadowsfall have been known to enforce this recently
- You must not travel in large groups-doing so will result in increased attacks from Hordelings, then Shadowsfall and finally by the Mists.
- You must not take members of other Towers into your own by force
- You must not attempt to cross Rainbow Lake.
- Hordelings are not permitted to hold either Status of Towers.
- Undead are not permitted to hold either Status or Towers.
- All Towered must pledge their status to a representative who must travel to The Time Of Reckoning each year if they are to maintain a tower.

On the subject of tower colours, I would add that it is considered entirely unacceptable to disguise which tower you are from or, worse still, pretend to be from a different tower.
Also, the Shadowsfall are generally accepted as the adjudicators and "enforcers" on Orin Rakatha, and although other towers may come into conflict with them, they have a special status on the plane.
Finally, mass combat (i.e. full-scale "wars") are not permitted. The reasons for this are probably not clear to ordinary residents of Orin Rakatha.

Laws of the Kern Valley Alliance
- You will not steal from, or by action or inaction allow another to steal from, any member of the Kern Valley Alliance.
- You will not harm, or by action or inaction allow another to harm, any member of the Kern Valley Alliance.
