Preamble

This is a copy of the Azad An mercenary agreement with the Kern Valley Alliance from Jade, forwarded to the library by Bloodbark on the second of Planting, 10AR.

I the undersigned do hereby agree to abide by the rules and regulations set out within this document.

1: I agree to follow the rules as stated below unless they contradict any law of the Kern Valley Alliance

2: I agree to follow any order given to me by the Azard An, unless it contradicts any law of the Kern Valley Alliance

3: I agree to follow the mercenaries code in dealings with any other tower - specifically the three rules of combat

a) - Do not hurt where holding is enough; do not wound where hurting is enough; do not maim where wounding is enough; and kill not where maiming is enough.

b) - Honour is what sets you above the common warrior, be honourable in all you do.

c) - Accept the defeat of others gracefully, by throwing down their weapons they are accepting your victory.

4: I agree to guard the client with my life

5: I agree to follow the commands of the client unless they conflict with either the mercenaries code or Kern Valley Law. If this is the case I must state to the client the reason I am not able to follow that command

6: I agree to tithe 75% of the client's fee plus 75% of any tips or gratuities to the Azard An tower

7: If the client has paid for a confidentiality clause I agree to keep the specifics of the contract, and any activities undertaken whilst under contract, from any third party

8: I accept that if I die whilst under contract I waive all rights to claim compensation from the Azard An

9: I agree that if I break any of the rules and regulations as stated within this document, or the client dies, I waive all rights to any fee
