Known Towers
There are an unknown number of undiscovered towers in Orin Rakatha
Archive Note: The Dai-fa-Dyn have moved to the 8 Hills, the new inhabitants of their former tower in Lower Waite is as yet unknown.
Within the Valley Alliance Tower, an unusual farming sector - Sector 7 - exists.
Undead are forbidden to hold towers according to the Laws of Orin Rakatha. However, there is at least one well organised group of free-willed undead at large in Orin Rakatha.
Archive Note: As of Turning Moon, 10AR the Shadow Lodge probably no longer exists.
Fallen Towers
Just as the Alliance tower was once held by the Aldonar, so other races and nations have come and gone in other towers.

Archive Note: Falling Leaf, 11AR: Kevralyn Soulfire reports that the Reader Alberto Serrulian, Master craftsman of the Caravan is buying waystations, having recently purchased the Twilight Grove and the Wraiths Head. (Also purported to have purchased a waystation to the West of the World Window K.S. reports this as back under control of the Dai-fah-Dyn again - Arch.)
Until the negotiations during Wind Moon, 11AR with the Reader for the return of Azad-An to their tower, the Alliance held some dozen waystations.
"Let it be known that in order to allow Azard to return to his former home a deal was struck with the Reader.
"The bargain is the Reader take Azard in. In order to allow the Reader to save face for allowing a failed former son to return it was agreed that three waystations would be put in the hands of the Reader for a period of five years.
"One of the waystations is to be located within a days travel of the valley. The other two locations are to be chosen by the Reader. There is a veto against those that would seek to stay in the waystation closest to the Valley and Valley member stay free of charge in all of the waystations."
Roban Dreadbane, eye-witness, Wind Moon, 11AR
