Colours - red, with a three-pointed star.

This Tower forms part of the Icarthian Triangle, being on the edge of the Rabb Plains and Gilden Far, in the south-south-east of Orin Rakatha.

"We recently entered the construct chamber of High Enchanter Eucleidas (a yellow specialist), where we reconstructed the elemental "People of Air and Fire" and "Daughters of Air and Water". You may wish to refer to my report from High Sun for the details of this, and other features of the Tower, as it is quite fascinating. We met Pascal, Enchanter in service to Eucleidas. We also met a number of aspirant Enchanters, with human visages. The LoX ambassadors (I have encountered two in my time) seem to have gold faces."

Inside the Tower

There are areas within the Tower where items charged with mana or power can function as normal. This would be, for example, a permanently empowered mace, or a sword upon which you have cast a durational blade outside the Tower. Where we were present, all spells and invocations had to be effective at either battle magic or lay power levels. If you were in possession of a nullity talisman or focus (which acted as a grounding agent), you would be able to channel lay power or cast battle magic within the Tower itself.

Hive Mind

When asked a question, often a Xenosian will look upwards while they connect to the Hive Mind in search of a response. A favourite reply seems to be "the answer to your question is unavailable at this time". The Hive Mind seems to grant access to a permanent store of information which can be retrieved quickly irrespective of time past. It should be noted that information you pass onto a Xenosian is likely to be recorded and stored for further future use by any of their Tower. This tower has existed for many hundreds of years.

Minotaurs

Not much is known of this Tower, although it is known that Minotaurs come from this area. Minotaurs seek magical items and eat them after ‘acquiring’ them to return to their masters in the tower – if you are fortunate enough to slay a Minotaur, slitting it open may reveal treasure!

From the Tower Library, 10AR

"There are at least 2 distinct breeds of Minotaur: Gold and Silver. I believe that Silver seek out magical artifacts and are affected by only Magical damage. Gold in turn seek out Powered items and are affected only by Power damage. I have encountered at least one minotaur that required first magic, then power and finally physical damage to destroy it, I am unsure of what items this creature sought, it's stomach was empty. It is worth mentioning that the minotaurs swallow items and to retrieve them you must slice them open."

Shard, form his own notes, 10AR

"A valley group once met two members proper of this tower. They claimed that they rarely had to leave the towers as they (unlike the Alliance, Kalid and Dymwan amongst others) no longer felt the need to expand. When asked how they maintained necessary status they replied that they had “more than sufficient”. The attitude of members of this tower is distracted and distant as though most of what happens affects them so little. It was implied that their tower is most ancient and that they have seen many others come and go (passing off the Dyman in particular as a phase that would end during the height of their power). Also suggested was the idea that the items gathered by the minotaurs are modified and released back onto the plane, although the reasoning behind this was not fully explained."

Constructs

Various reports mention the inhabitants of the tower use strange, mechanical men. Kevralyn Soulfire's report below shows at least some include remnants of living beings.

"...One of the Xenos constructs kept approaching Luke, despite being called back several times by the apparent leader of the party. We deduced that it must be Eldoran, the Seeker, and that he was being drawn to the amulet around Lukes neck..."

Kevralyn Soulfire, Mission report, Hunters Moon, 10AR

Archivists Note: Several missions have reported these constructs as being able to cast ranged magic at far greater distances than normally possible.

Ogras

"Ogras them not hordling them created by Wayland Wycan as creature of element tribe."

Dreams of Shadows, conversation with Belas Knapp, High Sun 11AR

Archivist's Note: Wayland Wycan is/was High Enchanter of the Labyrinth of Xenos.

The Prison

The High Enchanter Wayland Wycan created 4 types of elemental constructs (known as the Daughters of Air and Water, Brothers of Water and Stone, Children of Fire and Stone, People of Air and Fire) which provided the mana needed to bind the Ikarthian 'Nemesis' onto the Plane of Shadows.
