Saldorians by reputation hate all non-humans.

Groups, Brotherhoods & Sects

The Navanti

The heads of the Navanti appear to be both the relgious leaders and perhaps rulers of the Saldorians. The normal Navanti I have encountered act as commanders to the regionesse and fulfill both wizardly and priestly roles. The Navanti are split into (at least) three Brotherhoods. *The Brotherhood of Purity and Light , The Brotherhood of Strength and Steel and the Brotherhood of Darkness and Despair. Each of these Brotherhoods seems affiliated with one of the Spheres. Within each Brotherhood there are a number of sects, these sects appear much as our sects within the teachings of a sphere. Those I have encountered include:

~ The Gatherers Sect: Brotherhood of Darkness & Despair They were involved in the operation of the experimentation station in the Valgrind pass.

~ The Stalkers Sect: The Brotherhood of Darkness & Despair They aranged the attempted capture of the mistweaver near the easterling tower. There leader Gurth-Ereg is the Saldorian ambassador to the King's Court. (But this is covered in Quicksilvers comments)

~ The Illuminanti Sect: (Possibly of the Brotherhood of Purity & Light) Sent advice of dream related problems to the Gatherers Sect working in the Pass.

~ The Regionesse: You surmised correctly here the regionesse appear to be a militia of sorts. Almost all are of martial training and inclination.

All Saldorians I have met are human.

They make use of Hepaths in there defences and for other purposes. This seems to be a reasonably common thing for them to do, aswell as making use of elementals.
