For over thirty years the Valley have been One People, with separate beliefs, but bonded together as one nation with shared goals; has that time of unity now come to an end?

The Valley have not yet fully recovered from the assault by the Kalid and Fortress of Pentar and fractures between some of our more extreme factions have been forming. Our people are separated over various parts of Orin Rakatha and many adventurers are still missing and for some their beliefs are now at odds with our shared goals, which have caused a divide. A divide we cannot ignore as we need all of our Status to continue to be viable as One People. Are our differences too great to overcome, or can we work through them to reunite once again as One People within One Land?

At the last Time of Reckoning (Fools Moon last year) the Valley nation split into two factions, the Valley and The Black Tower, with the leaders seemingly unable to come to a compromise to allow us to remain united. Both of these factions had insufficient status to be officially recognised as a nation in their own right and would have consequently lost their lands and nation status and been forced into being "dispossessed", which would have had dire consequences for our people. However, due to their connection to the Mystics and previous work they had done for the good of Orin Rakatha, the Valley and the Black Tower were both granted temporary nation status for one year. That year is now coming to an end and both separate nations have to re-present their Status at the next Fools Moon, to see if they can officially remain as two separate nations (should they manage to find sufficient Status), reform into one nation or become Nomads.

A number of our more active Guildleaders have brought together a representative group in an attempt to resolve our differences and once again reunite as One strong People. This group have called for a meeting to take place with key Valley members on the 28th Day of Wind Moon at the Mothers Den waystation to see if an agreement can be reached before the Time of Reckoning takes place on All Fools Day.
